68% of teenagers have reported to use TikTok, as well as another 63% are users of Instagram. 95% of teenagers between the ages of 13-17 use social media, and two thirds of them are using it daily. With a growing generation of people online, one of the best ways our team could connect our cause was through social media platforms. We have accounts on both Instagram and TikTok with a goal to inform the media through actual research in a form of fun, colorful, and trendy posts.
